For the lucky ones who can afford it, a cold shot of sake (Japanese Rice Wine) awaits them after a hard day at work. In the past five years some 40% of the bars in Kamagasaki have closed down. Not that drinking has gone down (to the contrast drinking has gone up), but rather because very few can afford to drink at a bar.
